BlueScope Foundation Awards $5,000 grant

Sometimes, chance meetings are just meant to be.  At a recent fundraising event, the Dream Factory connected with Mark Harden from Varco Pruden Buildings of Memphis, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America.  BlueScope, headquartered in Kansas City, MO has over 2,000 employees and is a leader in customized steel building solutions.

In their quest to give back, they established the BlueScope Foundation in 1952.  Mark encouraged us to apply for a grant, which we eagerly did.  We are excited to report that the Dream Factory of Memphis is the latest recipient of a $5,000 grant.  Pictured is Mark Harden (right) presenting the check to Brian Juengling of the Dream Factory.

These funds have been earmarked to grant RaeLynn H his Dream Trip to Disney World in July 2023.  RaeLynn, a 10-year-old from Memphis, is excited to head to Orlando to ride rollercoasters and meet Mickey Mouse.

We want to thank the BlueScope Foundation for their grant and allowing us to be stewards of these funds.  Together, we are making Dreams Come True!

Thanks to our Title Sponsors (listed above) for their generosity in making Dreams Come True.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated, attended and volunteered to make this day so memorable. We look forward to a better event in 2021…until then, ski warm.
