Know a child who deserves a dream?

The Dream Factory is the largest volunteer-driven wish-granting organization, granting dreams to children 3 through 18 who are critically or chronically ill. We believe children with chronic illness also endure trauma, stress and depression — and we strive to bring them hope and happiness by making dreams come true.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a dream:

The child must be 3 to 18 years old.
The critical or chronic illness must be documented and affirmed by a treating physician.
The child must be able to communicate his or her dream to a volunteer screening representative of The Dream Factory.
The child must not have received a wish or dream from any other wish-granting organization.

Please note: Our volunteers grant dreams to children who live within about 50 miles of Memphis — Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Lauderdale and Haywood counties in Tennessee; Crittenden, Cross, Poinsett, St. Francis and Mississippi counties in Arkansas; and DeSoto, Marshall, Tate, Tunica and Benton counties in Mississippi. Outside our area? Find your local chapter.

The Dream Factory grants dreams without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ethnic origin or economic status.

Because we respect the privacy of families with critically or chronically ill children, we do not actively recruit children for dreams or accept referrals from friends. If you know a child who might be eligible, please encourage the family to contact us.
